Financial Support
Deadline to apply for Financial Support: January 3, 2025
Thanks to many gifts from alumni, parents and friends, Havergal is able to move toward eliminating the tuition fee barrier for exceptional students in the Upper School who otherwise would not be able to attend Havergal. Financial support is awarded in the form of a bursary. Bursaries are based on demonstrated financial need and are confidential.
To be considered, please complete the application form available on applefinancialservices.ca. The deadline for new students to apply is January 3, 2025. Financial support decisions are separate from admission decisions. Visit Tuition, Financial Support & Scholarships to learn more and to apply. Havergal also offers several Entrance Scholarships that are based on the financial need demonstrated by the candidate.
Step3
Assessment & English Requirements
Once we receive your completed application, a member of the Admission team will contact you to select a time for your interview. The interview is designed to allow us to get to know you and your child as well as provide an opportunity for you to ask questions about the Havergal difference. All Boarding applicants will be invited to visit the school for their interview or conduct their interview via Zoom. We highly recommend downloading the Zoom app in advance of your interview. Please contact our Admission Office for more details. Admission decisions for Boarding candidates are made as soon as the candidate’s file is complete. Learn more about Boarding at Havergal.
All Grade 9, 10 and 11 Boarding applicants must write the SSAT. Please visit ssat.org for testing dates. Applicants may be interviewed prior to writing the SSAT. If you are unable to schedule a time to take the SSAT please contact [email protected].
Havergal does not offer an ESL program. In order for students to be successful at Havergal, they must be able to demonstrate fluency in both oral and written communication. Applicants whose first language is not English may be required to complete the IELTS test to determine their proficiency.
Step4
Interview
Once we receive your completed application, all applicants will be able to book an interview. The interview is designed to allow us to get to know you and your child as well as provide an opportunity for you to ask questions about the Havergal difference. Admission decisions for Boarding candidates are made as soon as the candidate’s file is complete. Learn more about Boarding at Havergal.
