Many Old Girls, parents and friends have recognized the need for student financial assistance and have generously given their support to this area of need. Thanks to these gifts, Havergal is able to move toward eliminating the tuition fee barrier for exceptional day and boarding students in the Upper School who otherwise would not be able to attend Havergal. At the present time, financial assistance is not available for families who are applying to our Junior School.
Financial aid is awarded in the form of a bursary. Bursaries are based on demonstrated financial need and are confidential. All applicants must meet the school’s terms for admission or re-registration to be considered for a bursary. The amount of financial assistance awarded is applied as a reduction of tuition fees.

A third party assesses the information in order to confirm financial need. The Student Assistance Committee reviews all applications and grants financial assistance after review of the recommendation by the third party agency. All bursaries are awarded in compliance with relevant CAIS, CIS and Havergal policies and CRA rules, and with respect for donor intentions. For more information, please contact the Admission Office at 416.482.4724 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
