Step 2: Explore Havergal

Before your interview, we invite you to take our virtual tour of Havergal and join us for one of our Admission events. We will be hosting virtual Open Houses, webinars about our academic, co-curricular and wellness programs as well as podcasts that you can download and listen to when it is convenient for you. Visit our Virtual Admission Centre for details and check back often for updates and new opportunities.

Step 3: Interview

Grade 2 is not a traditional entry year and spaces are dependent on attrition. Should a space become available, we will review all applications and invite select candidates to an interview over Zoom and to participate in an online assessment.

Step 4: Assessment

Should a place become available for entry into Grade 2, we will contact families to arrange an assessment. With your daughter’s safety and wellbeing in mind, we will be reviewing our assessments, which are traditionally held on campus in January and February in a group setting. Our assessments are designed to be age appropriate and allow us to see each applicant’s strengths and talents. Should we not be able to have assessments in person, we will connect with families about a virtual assessment that will be child-centred and allow us to get to know your daughter as a learner and as a community member.

Step 5: Admission Decision

All admission decisions will be emailed to families on February 26, 2021.
