Today the provincial government announced that all schools in Ontario will remain closed for in-person learning for the remainder of the school year, in order to prioritize the health and safety of Ontarians. This difficult decision is intended to protect Ontario families from fast growing variants and allow for the acceleration of vaccinations across the province.
Given this news, all Havergal students will continue with remote learning until the end of the academic year. You can view the government announcement here.
While in-person learning will not be proceeding, the Ontario government is permitting outdoor celebrations that are in line with public health guidelines. We will be in touch with more information as soon as our plans are confirmed.
Students will continue their studies through the Continuous Learning Plan (CLP) from now until the end of term. Our CLP details can be found here:

It is a testament to the strength of our community that we have continued to move forward and are nearing the completion of the 2020-21 academic year. I continue to be impressed with our students’ determination, creativity and joyful spirit. Thank you again for your patience and cooperation.
