Our latest ad campaign has a focus on student support and community. Developed in collaboration with our agency of record, Ruby & Foster, these advertisements draw on the lived experience of our students and showcase members of our community who stand by them in their journeys as learners. There are three iterations of the ad; on each the copy reads: “She builds her dream. We build her team. A Havergal student doesn’t face her future alone. She’s backed by a community of peers, faculty and alumnae that are her champions for life.”
The positioning of the creative is steeped in the research conducted by GFK in 2018 with stakeholders (both qualitative and quantitative), where participants identified the Havergal community as the most distinguishing factor of our brand. In our consultations with prospective and current parents and students, the idea of an established and nurturing support system of peers, staff and alumnae is what separates the school from its competition. It is this unique community that supports a Havergal student not just in the present, but for the duration of her life.
The objective of our new advertisements is to promote our Open Houses to prospective parents and students and build awareness of our new Grade 5 entry year. You can find these ads in various places, including: online as a part of our digital campaign; in print publications such as the Globe & Mail, Mirvish programs, The Star and various private school guides; and on digital screens throughout Billy Bishop Airport.
