Co-Curricular Activities: Senior School

Senior School co-curriculars are a vital part of our learning environment that encourages students to respond with vigour and imagination to their world.

Co-curricular clubs allow Senior School students to discover the excitement of learning while developing their powers of curiosity, reasoning, imagination, resilience and expression. Students benefit from the many opportunities available to them to pursue their individual skills, interests, talents and abilities. Clubs are student-led, with leaders elected each year. Each Club Head creates the vision and mission of their group, plans and facilitates meetings and initiatives and works with a mentor.

At the Senior School, there are a wide variety of co-curriculars, which allow students to try different things and get to know themselves better. Senior School students are welcome to propose new clubs based on their particular interests. Co-curriculars help them develop transferable skills they can apply to other areas of their lives. Students have many opportunities to interact beyond the classroom and with other member schools in organized co-ed settings, through the Coalition of Single Sex Schools of Toronto (COSSOT). Clubs also offer students the chance to compete locally and globally.
