Legacy Families

Attending Havergal College, for many, is a family tradition. Generations of women—grandmothers, aunts, mothers, daughters, sisters, and cousins—share the special bond of being Havergal Old Girls.
The model of a “Legacy Family” at Havergal includes families:
- With three or more family members who have been students at Havergal; and
- Who cross at least two generations; and
- Who are from at least two immediate families.
For example: grandmother, mother and daughter; or mother, aunt, daughter and niece.
Legacy Families are an important component of Havergal’s history. Traditions that were established in the early 20th century continue to be cherished by students today. These shared experiences within families cross many generations.
Legacy Families are also an important piece of our future. Due to the generous support of the Havergal Community—both past and present—Havergal College will continue to provide an excellent education for young women well into the future. Old Girls will have the opportunity to enroll their daughters and granddaughters here and the Havergal genealogy will continue to grow.
If you believe that you are part of an Havergal Legacy Family, please let us know. Over the years, some of these connections have not been recorded.
