Confirmation marks the point in the Christian journey where those who have been baptized as children make a firm commitment to their faith.
Preparation for this important event will begin on January 14, and will run for 10 weeks on Monday lunch hours (excluding March Break, Family Day and Easter Monday).
The Diocesan Confirmation service will be conducted by the Right Reverend Colin Johnson, Archbishop of Toronto, and will take place on April 21 at the Cathedral Church of St. James, Toronto.
All baptized students are welcome to attend preparation for this important event.
If a student has not been baptized, that can also be prepared for and arranged – it need not be a barrier to participation.
Students who are interested in attending Confirmation classes are encouraged to register their interest as soon as possible with Reverend Bell+ at sbell@havergal.on.ca.
