To acknowledge Global Dignity Day on October 17, Upper School students painted and signed a poster in support of Pakistani student Malala Yousafzai. On October 9, the Taliban shot Malala twice in retaliation for her women's education campaign.
“We all believe in Malala. She is an inspiration to all of us, fighting for women’s rights and making the world a place where all humans are equal,” wrote one student on the sign.
Currently, the sign is on display in the Rotunda in the Upper School.
