Mothers Celebrate Daughters' Grad Year at Annual Grade 12 Mother-Daughter Luncheon
On Friday, September 21, mothers of Grade 12 students celebrated the final year of their daughter’s time at Havergal at the annual Grade 12 Mother Daughter Luncheon in the Brenda Robson Hall.
Mothers were greeted by their daughters at the front of the school and were honoured with Marguerite daisies, a symbol of the Havergal Old Girl.
HCC President Joanne Gooding (Class of 1982) emceed the event, introducing:
- HOGA President Dale Mcintosh (Class of 1992) welcoming all of the mothers and Grads to the luncheon
- Senior Year Presidents Shaelyn Newmarch and Cyra Humber
- Grad mother Liz Walter
- Grad mother Elizabeth King (Class of 1983), who gave a toast to the daughters
- and Sydney Page, who gave a toast to mothers.
It was a warm and heartfelt occasion as mothers and daughters look forward to a wonderful graduation year.
