The week of July 16 to 20, 2012, NOAH volunteer Portia Ayaynda Bhengu visited Havergal College from South Africa to learn more about the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) program, which exposes children in the Nurturing Orphans with AIDS for Humanity (NOAH) program to the world of technology.
The 23-year-old Early Childhood Development recent graduate spent six days at Havergal College, where she met with members of the Havergal community who are involved in the One Laptop Per Child program to discuss the project.
