This week, students in Ms. Andrea Ou-Hingwan’s Grade 9 Spanish class are busy presenting their “Conventions of the Hispanic World” project. The project began in September when each student was assigned a country from the Hispanic world in which to research and study throughout the year. Through their studies they have become citizens of their countries and have learned as much as possible about it.
This week they are presenting their countries to their peers and to Spanish speaking faculty and staff, who will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the Hispanic world. The students will continue to study their countries in subsequent years of study.
